Melody in Trouble......R.I.P.

One of the biggest shocks I got yesterday apart from hearing the course of one of my Chemical Engineering subjects was the news of Amy Winehouse's death, a R&B, jazz and soul singer who also happened to be a drinking and drug addict, with a unique dressing style, no! actually hairstyle.

I saw her first time on T.V. and last on my laptop screen while watching her recorded video of Back to Black performance (last time means when I saw her last time and not when she was alive).
A bit strange type of thinking, well! yeah! that's how it is with me, and probably that's how it was with Amy. Her strange ways of living which lead to her several breakups and fights. Okay! that's too personal but I just wanted to build a connection with her, well!, it seems, its hard luck to build a connection with this extremely gifted singer.

Hard luck that's what this hell of a singer had, She climbed the ladder of success, got high, and fell down in paradise, probably because god loved her contralto vocals so much that he called her near her.

She was not only the muse of Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld but also of music and music lovers. Her fans must have had tears in their eyes, on hearing her death.

Hence, for this Frank performer whom I used to call "Melody in Trouble" while she was alive, here's my Frank tribute.....

you were high,
when you were alive,
on top of your world,
when you died,

winner of Grammy,
and people's hearts,
be Frank with God,
and tell him what pain you hold,
about the loosing game with life you played,
the trouble you faced
and how with your unique ways you got slayed,
so that he embraces you,
and makes you new,
and tells you "you are stronger than me",

sends you Back from Black,
in light,
to shine bright,
in another birth,
on lovely earth,
where you again walk with grace
make in your fans' hearts' a brand new palace,
thus, their tears dry on their own,
which flow, while, in your death they mourn,
