देखो कहीं बहके तो नहीं आ गया, फर्श पे, रंग तिरंगे का...

हरा रंग लगा है आज,
कल सतरंगी था,
देखो कहीं बहके तो नहीं आ गया, फर्श पे,
रंग तिरंगे का,

एकजुट, होके खड़े होना,

हक के लिए काफी नहीं,

व्यर्थ ही लड़ना,

वक़्त खर्च करना मुनासिब नहीं,

हमें अकेले में भी, रँग भरने होंगे,

लगातार रंग भरने होंगे,

रगों से निचोड़ कर भी रँग भरने होंगे,

क्षणभंगुर कि नहीं चाहिए अगर प्रगति,

हमें निंदा भी करनी होंगी,

हमें शर्मिंदगी भी झेलनी होंगी,

उथल पुथल होगी जब संस्कृति,

तभी हमारे सूरज को नया यश प्राप्त होगा,

छाती पे लपेटने से काम नहीं चलेगा,

ढक के देह से रखना होगा,

तभी तिरंगे का विकास होगा,

हलकी सि बारिश मैं भी वरना,

बूंदो से लहू लुहान होगा,

हुआ नौजवान ठंडा

हुआ नौजवान ठंडा,

शरबत पियो  मोहब्बत का,

कीलों पे चढ़ गयी काबिलियत,

हफ्ते भर का काम, साल भर का,

बर्बादी आबादी के बाद ही आती है,

बूढा तारे नहीं देखता,

जवान मेरे, पतंग को जाने दे,

पतंगें, पकड़ आ,

जा, तू पार्लियामेंट होके आ,

देख ज़रा, सच में भिड़ पड़े है क्या,

भोंकने कि आवाज़ें तो  आयी थी,

साला दूर से  कुछ नहीं दिखता |

At times, I am time,

At times, time’s me,

I haven’t eaten since ages,

Butterflies are still there in me,

Sloths! Suck the nectar and go away,

Sun’s coming out,  I have to make way,

Its times’ time,

Night times over,

Come another day,

Motorcycle is talking to wind,

Alas! I am not imagining,

Butterflies don’t suck,

Night is not day,
I am spreading my wings,

Not making way,

hope has been overrated,
its a depressed man's word,
a lazy, patient one's dead word,
an excuse of a weak battalion,

hope should be the last choice,
least choice, no choice,
having hope is being lifeless,
year by year, waiting for the rain, not harvesting,

people who say, have hope,
can do nothing for you,
have no clue, of what you are going through,

hope ain't taking you higher,
if ever it happened,
when one's hope survived,
the other killed his, unchained, saved one's in time,

I can’t understand!

Animals in the Zoo

animals in the zoo,

are basically good people,

we have captured from forest..

to teach them our ways...

the varied styles of being a showpiece,

to look into eyes,

only when there is utmost need,

to move around and keep doing their own thing,

while others keep waiting,

which is the method of interacting…

they are basically good people,

who used to hunt on their own,

but now we feed them,

animals in the zoo

can’t be released in the wild,

they are of no use over there,
